The race to the finals intensified as two great teams, AFP Lady Gunnar and PNP Lady Patrollers, emerged victorious in Game 2 of the UNTV Volleyball League’s round-robin semifinals on June 11, 2025, at the Paco Arena.

AFP was able to bounce back from the frustration of Game 1 against the PNP Lady Patrollers, while the PNP Lady Patrollers secured another win, gaining an advantage in their championship aspirations.

In Game 1, the AFP Lady Gunnar asserted their control with a convincing win against the COMELEC Suffragettes. The Lady Gunnar demonstrated their formidable offense and disciplined defense after reeling from a devastating defeat from the Lady Patrollers in Game 1 of the league's round-robin semifinals.

Meanwhile, the Lady Patrollers, in a display of true championship caliber, fought tooth and nail to overcome the formidable BFP Lady Firefighters in a grueling four-set thriller. After dropping the first set, the Lady Patrollers rallied with exceptional teamwork and strategic plays, clawing their way to win the next three straight sets.

The decisive fourth set saw them unleash their full potential, with Yam Porio delivering clutch points that ultimately secured their hard-fought victory and kept their hopes of a title defense alive.

The next games will be on Sunday at the Paco Arena for the last day of the single round-robin format semifinals of UNTV Volleyball League Season 3, where the BFP Lady Firefighters will go head-to-head with the AFP Lady Gunnar, while the COMELEC Suffragettes will face the undefeated PNP Lady Patrollers in Game 2.
