Nagpatupad ng martial law ang pamahalaan ng Thailand sa 7 distrito ng Chathaburi bilang tugon sa umiigting na tensyon sa pagitan ng Thailand at Cambodia.

Layon ng hakbang na ito na palakasin ang seguridad at tiyaking ligtas ang mga sibilyan sa gitna ng lumalalang sitwasyon.
