The PNP Lady Patrollers are set to make their historic second Finals appearance in UNTV Volleyball League Season 3, aiming to clinch the championship title they missed in their previous bid.
Their journey to the grand stage has been a testament to their unwavering spirit, characterized by three key factors: exceptional teamwork, relentless perseverance, and crystal-clear communication.
Having learned valuable lessons from their last finals experience, the Lady Patrollers are more unified and determined than ever to bring home the coveted trophy.
For PNP Lady Patrollers’ import and setter, Tin Bangcola, the top three keys to their finals comeback have been the development of their teamwork on the court, perseverance, and clear communication within the game to contribute their best to the collective goal.
“I think ang unang-unang factor na makaabot kami ulit sa finals…'yung teamwork, 'yung perseverance ng each member and 'yung communication.” Bangcola gladly emphasized in the post-game interview.
Meanwhile, for their head coach Rod Pinalba, the team’s strong mindset and their “never give up” attitude were truly the reasons they were able to come back to the Finals and have a chance at their first championship in the league.
“Well, hindi naman kami sumusuko kahit may talo kami, tuloy-tuloy lang kami. Sinasabi ko lagi sa mga player ko na wag sila mawalan ng pag-asa”, Coach Pinalba proudly said after securing a finals berth.
PNP is expected to perform well in the UVL Finals, given their high morale coming from a 3-0 dominance in the semifinals. They are also banking on their experience from the previous season and will surely focus on the things they failed to execute last year.
Game 1 of the most anticipated UNTV Volleyball League Season 3 Finals will be on June 18, 2025, at the Paco Arena, Manila. Expect a nerve-wracking showdown between the PNP Lady Patrollers and BFP Lady Firefighters.
