Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin announced in a memorandum that government offices and schools at all levels across Metro Manila and select provinces will halt operations on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, due to inclement weather.

The government issued the suspension to protect government workers, students, and the public from the dangers of heavy rainfall and potential flooding affecting several areas. Local government units outside the National Capital Region (NCR) will announce their own suspensions based on local weather conditions.

Authorities urge everyone to monitor official government channels and take necessary precautions during the severe weather.
